This film is the true story of U.C. Berkeley's capture of the Stanford Axe on 15 April 1899 in San Francisco, California. The wild chase led through the much of the city and became the basis for the extreme rivalry between the two universities. Currently in the possession of Stanford, the Axe still exists today as a trophy for the winner of the Big Game every year.
Written and executive produced by the great-grandson of one of the main participants, this movie will be created in the style of the Buster Keaton silent film comedies of the 1920s.
